1. The Iguazu Falls

Located on the border between Argentina and Brazil and protected by national parks, they are a set of 275 waterfalls with a great flow and a maximum height of 80 meters (the well-known Devil’s Throat).

Iguazu Falls – in the photo that opens this article –  are home to 450 species of birds, hundreds of insects, 80 species of mammals and dozens of reptiles.

Among the main inhabitants we can find the yacare caiman, the toucan, the jaguar, the butterfly, the anteaters, the eagle, the heron and the ocelot.

2. Table Mountain

It is located in South Africa, more precisely in Cape Town and is nothing less than a mountain with an elongated shape  on the top, hence the name of “table”, chosen as a local symbol.

The most common animal here is the Cape Hyrax, (a mammal) although we can also find mongooses, turtles, porcupines and snakes.
