Wilson’s Bird of Paradise

This bird is truly amazing and does not go unnoticed, especially thanks to its multicolored body. The spots in shades of red, yellow, bottle green, blue and brown combine harmoniously to create a rainbow of unique beauty in the world.

Without a doubt, however, the most incredible thing about this animal is the mustache-shaped tail in the purest Salvador DalĂ style . This type of tail is typical only of the male specimens. A truly indescribable beauty of nature.

Real bird of paradise

This New Guinea bird is an explosion of colors and shapes that appear to have been drawn at random creating a wonder of nature. The chest is white, the back is brick-colored, the legs are blue and the wings are gray with finishing in the tips in green and blue tones. A real show!

The size of its wings is very unique, as they are small and rounded in the shape of a fan. Its tail, on the other hand, is ‘hairy’ and two narrow and long protuberances protrude from it. An incredible bird that does not go unnoticed.

The red-necked hornbill

The red-necked hornbill lives in India and Asia and is an endangered species – a real shame given its beauty. At first glance it looks like a toucan, although the shape of its beak and its colors are different. The beak has vertical lines of black color that go from the middle of the same backwards. The under-chin is deep orange, while the head is brick-colored.

As for the body, the predominant color is black. However, let’s review the brick color in the legs and the white from the middle of the tail down. The standout feature is a kind of deep blue colored ring that surrounds its eyes. Can you imagine a work of nature more beautiful than this?

Wire-tailed manakin

The wire-tailed monk is another colorful bird, one of the most impressive in the world. It lives in the Amazon and , if you are lucky enough to be in its vicinity, its intense yellow color will allow you to see it from afar. Its head is red and its body black, three colors that do not go unnoticed and that harmonize perfectly creating an incredible specimen.

Little bird

The Gouldian diamond

The Gouldian diamond could not be missing from the list of the most impressive birds due to its extreme beauty and incredible mix of colors. Red, green, yellow and blue form a perfect combination in this little bird’s small body.

It lives in Australia, in the savannah and in the wooded areas, but always close to the water, incredibly necessary for its survival. The scarcity of the latter has brought this species to the brink of extinction, also due to the alteration of its habitat.

The quetzal

Its colors do not go unnoticed, the shape of its head and its short legs neither. But if there is one truly surprising thing about this exotic bird living in Latin America, it is its huge tail. It can reach 70 centimeters, really disproportionate to its body, which barely reaches 20 centimeters.

Quetzals are concentrated in various places in Latin America, such as forests and mountains. In these places the inhabitants have created guided tours during which it is likely to come across these birds. Don’t miss this opportunity if you visit these areas.

Nature does not stop showing us more and more extraordinary animals that surprise us and make us appreciate even more what we have on our planet. We do everything possible to take care of it.
